Requirements to make 1 design:
40 cm x 50 cm (16" x 20") rectangle for the background fabric
Different coloured fabric scraps for the appliqué (We used batiks)
50 cm (1/2 yard) of fusible web and thread for blanket stitching
Optional 30 cm x 40 cm (12" x 16") picture frame

The woodland animals are such fun. Awesome companions for me as I'm sure they will be for their recipients. Creative use of batik scraps makes these rewarding on several levels. Instructions are spot on and applique video very helpful. I'm new to applique but you have made this such a fun experience I will do more.
