Yvonne's finished Miss Daisy quilt is a beautiful combination of Frosty Grunge background fabric, navy binding, and carefully selected prints from her stash. As her first quilt-as-you-go project, it's a wonderful achievement and a lovely example of how effective simple fabric choices from your stash can be.

Bushveld Home (Island Home) Quilt-as-you-go Quilt by Lindie Vosloo-Dreyer

Inspired by the colours and landscapes she loves, Lindie transformed Island Home into her own Bushveld Home. Glowing shades of green bring the quilt to life, while the project itself became a valuable learning experience as she explored different block sizes and quilt-as-you-go joining techniques.

Precious Pieces Quilt-as-you-go Quilt by Linda Fildes

Linda's version of Precious Pieces feels fresh, vibrant and wonderfully modern. Choosing to make nine blocks instead of twelve, she created a project that also introduced her to several new techniques, including bias tape appliqué, invisible machine appliqué and Dresden Plates. It's always wonderful to see a quilt become both a beautiful project and a learning experience.

Art Quilt by Brenda Hookey

Brenda combined several of our appliqué patterns with her own incredible creativity to create a truly magical art quilt. Featuring a whale, seahorse, octopus, fish and Paddy the Pelican resting on a log beneath a glowing sun, the finished piece feels like a storybook scene brought to life. It's a wonderful reminder that patterns can be the starting point for something completely unique and personal.
