When I started my journey about 1.5 yrs ago, I stumbled on the Island home tutorials on YouTube. Monica explained things so well, I am constantly referring back to those videos all the time. And now we have a book? it's like by bday, christmas, mothers day all wrapped up into one :). I haven't finished it due to the applique's (they terrify me LOL)

Brilliant way to purchase this reference companion. New to quilt as you go , I was recommended this reference book and authors videos. It hasn't failed to impress. Easy understandable directions . A brilliant way to purchase and print elsewhere - keeping postage costs down ! Thank you for easy, under stable steps and new techniques.

Monica, I love your Book. I have now ordered your printed version. My idea was to purchase the PDF version and have it printed and bound locally but local businesses wanted almost $200 to just that, I prefer that you get all the accolades and monetary rewards for all the time and dedication you put into this Beautiful Book. I have learned so much from your video and quilt as you go over the last two years. I am looking forward this years course starting in May. Your Book deserves a 5 star plus

I have searched endlessly for an easy quilt as you go method. I have never been happy with all of the complicated steps/trimming required by other methods. I am so happy I found Monica's book! The methods make sense, the instructions are clear. The PDF version incorporates links to corresponding videos - brilliant! I have printed it and put it into two binders - one for all the basic info and the other for the QAYG method. Can't say enough about how much I love this book and the methods!

This book contains a wealth of information on 5 methods of QAYG plus so much more. There are 5 small patterns given in the book to make so one can practice her methods. Monica leaves out no details and is very specific. Her explanations are easy to follow and has links to her YouTube channel about what she is explaining. I have been sewing/quilting for 20+ years, and I am learning new information and methods from Monica. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed by purchasing this book.

I purchased both the print version and PDF version of this publication. I am so excited to be able to learn the various methods in this publication for quilt-as-you-go, appliqueing, joining the block, adding borders. I have read most of the print book, but also like the PDF version so I can link to the videos related to what I am reading. I am not an advanced quilter and probably not even to intermediate level, however I think the can master the concise methods found in this book.

I purchased the PDF version and was able to print it immediately. I decided to do so after watching many of your excellent tutorials on YouTube. One method I was most interested in was how to quilt and sew a large quilt without sashing—like the Barn Star Sampler. The Quilt AYG Companion has clear, detailed pictures and easy-to-follow instructions. Thank you so much for putting this Companion book together for vivid home quilters who prefer not to use expensive means to finish a quilt.

Love the book! I got the PDF version as I live in the US and with shipping to get the book itself I felt was expensive. My intent was to just print it out from the PDF for my personal use. That said, I have discovered that because of all the great illustrations in the book, I would have been better off to just order the book. So I will just pull up the PDF on my laptop to see it now. Just buy the book if you were going to print it out.

I couldn't wait for the book so I also bought the PDF! I am enjoying reading and should be able to start trying out the different options for putting the quilts together! I will be trying out each one to decide which ones I like the best. Only thing I am disappointed with is it would be nice if the contents page would let you click and bring you to the section you want to review. Still a five-star book!

I purchased the PDF version of this book, as well as the hard copy version, so that I can easily take it with me, if I'm travelling or going to classes. It's easy to read and to find relevant information when I'm out and about. I love the whole concept of QAYG and this PDF version (downloaded to my iPad) is so convenient. Thank you Monica and Alaura, for your amazing instructions and beautiful photos.

This is the book I have been waiting for. I have been reviewing all the methods and I will use one to quilt a BOM I am making this year. I'm glad I can review the methods before starting the blocks so I can adjust the block sizes as I construct each one.

I'm very excited about the book and all the many YouTube videos.

A beautifully written and photographed example of an easy to read and follow instruction manual for different ways to quilt as you go. Your #1 go to without having to look for videos and then find the right part on your own. The great thing is that there are links in the .pdf and the book that take you straight to the videos that match the instructions too. Easy peasy! Get it in the bag!

I just ordered the PDF version of the Quilt-as-you-go companion, and I love it! It’s very well laid out and easy to find things. What would make the PDF version better is if there were links in the table of contents that took you to the page indicated so I wouldn’t have to scroll so much. I’m getting ready to complete my first queen-sized QAYG project, and this will be very helpful.

Not only does the pdf provide a handy version of the book, making the information convenient, but having quick access to the videos is great. I can’t believe how much I am learning. Purchasing both the book and pdf is a great deal. Not only will I be saving money doing my own quilting, but I also enjoy doing the entire quilt process myself. This purchase was really worth the price!

This is uch a wonderful tool, all your wealth and knowledge in one place. I have watched all your You Tube Videos but to have this wonderful information on one place is beyond wonderful. I have written sewing instructions before and still write note for myself so I know all the work it took to write this wonderful book. Thank you to Monica, Alaura and your great staff.

I have only just started looking at this and find it amazing and can't wait to start applying it to my new quilting journey. All the pictures and text are so easy to follow and understand. So well laid out indeed. Thank you for teaching the world this great method of quilting.

The pdf is very easy to use. The information if invaluable. When I was working I developed and wrote this type of document, so know how difficult and time consuming this can be. You did an outstanding job. The organization and presentation is wonderful. I am so looking forward to the paper copy. Job well done! Thank you for sharing your expertise and knowledge.

I ordered the PDF version, it was an instant download, I was able to print it for free so that was a bonus, although I will likely just use my tablet, I am excited to learn all the QAYG methods. I am also excited to join the BOM starting in May, I think the pattern and BOM are priced very affordable. I like Monica's teaching style and her quilts are so beautiful!
