When I started my journey about 1.5 yrs ago, I stumbled on the Island home tutorials on YouTube. Monica explained things so well, I am constantly referring back to those videos all the time. And now we have a book? it's like by bday, christmas, mothers day all wrapped up into one :). I haven't finished it due to the applique's (they terrify me LOL)

Monica, I love your Book. I have now ordered your printed version. My idea was to purchase the PDF version and have it printed and bound locally but local businesses wanted almost $200 to just that, I prefer that you get all the accolades and monetary rewards for all the time and dedication you put into this Beautiful Book. I purchased both the print version and PDF version of this publication. I am so excited to be able to learn the various methods in this publication for quilt-as-you-go, appliqueing, joining the block, adding borders. I have read most of the print book, but also like the PDF version so I can link to the videos related to what I am reading. I am not an advanced quilter and probably not even to intermediate level, however I think the can master the concise methods found in this book.
I purchased the PDF version and was able to print it immediately. I decided to do so after watching many of your excellent tutorials on YouTube. One method I was most interested in was how to quilt and sew a large quilt without sashing—like the Barn Star Sampler. The Quilt AYG Companion has clear, detailed pictures and easy-to-follow instructions. Thank you so much for putting this Companion book together for vivid home quilters who prefer not to use expensive means to finish a quilt.
Love the book! I got the PDF version as I live in the US and with shipping to get the book itself I felt was expensive. My intent was to just print it out from the PDF for my personal use. That said, I have discovered that because of all the great illustrations in the book, I would have been better off to just order the book. So I will just pull up the PDF on my laptop to see it now. Just buy the book if you were going to print it out.
I couldn't wait for the book so I also bought the PDF! I am enjoying reading and should be able to start trying out the different options for putting the quilts together! I will be trying out each one to decide which ones I like the best. Only thing I am disappointed with is it would be nice if the contents page would let you click and bring you to the section you want to review. Still a five-star book!
I purchased the PDF version of this book, as well as the hard copy version, so that I can easily take it with me, if I'm travelling or going to classes. It's easy to read and to find relevant information when I'm out and about. I love the whole concept of QAYG and this PDF version (downloaded to my iPad) is so convenient. This is the book I have been waiting for. I have been reviewing all the methods and I will use one to quilt a BOM I am making this year. I'm glad I can review the methods before starting the blocks so I can adjust the block sizes as I construct each one.

A beautifully written and photographed example of an easy to read and follow instruction manual for different ways to quilt as you go. Your #1 go to without having to look for videos and then find the right part on your own. The great thing is that there are links in the .pdf and the book that take you straight to the videos that match the instructions too. Easy peasy! Get it in the bag!
This is uch a wonderful tool, all your wealth and knowledge in one place. I have watched all your You Tube Videos but to have this wonderful information on one place is beyond wonderful. The pdf is very easy to use. The information if invaluable. When I was working I developed and wrote this type of document, so know how difficult and time consuming this can be. I ordered the PDF version, it was an instant download, I was able to print it for free so that was a bonus, although I will likely just use my tablet, I am excited to learn all the QAYG methods. I am also excited to join the BOM starting in May, I think the pattern and BOM are priced very affordable. I like Monica's teaching style and her quilts are so beautiful!
Due to the shipping restrictions to the US I purchased the pdf version.
The book is very detailed but not the least bit "dry". I do not like learning from a pdf version. I find it too difficult to wrap my head around what I am reading. However, to get the most out of this wonderful book I will endeavor to learn how to use a pdf.
I have many quilting PDF and book form patchwork and quilting books but none have come anywhere near this amazing resource. It is filled with practical and well explained tips, tricks and know how. Congratulations team in putting together this publication. I am already a better quilter and I only received the hard copy last week!

I love this book. I love how if I don’t quite understand I can click a link and watch a video. I am just learning to quilt and I am learning so much. I really want the hard back too, and one day I hope to get it. The book is very reasonably priced. The shipping is as much as the book though. Best book I have ever owned!
This is going to be such a useful book to have to hand as you are quilting. I am forever stopping and trying to find one of Monica's videos on Youtube, or even try and remember a tip she may have mentioned.
