Precious Pieces Block 3 and 7 PDF Pattern
Block 3 combines bias work and turned-edge machine applique to create a graceful fan with flowing ribbon detail.
Block 7 is a classic Dresden Plate where each wedge provides the perfect place to showcase your most precious pieces of fabric.
About the Precious Pieces Quilt.
The Precious Pieces quilt was designed by Monica Poole in 2002. It’s a quilt-as-you-go technique-based design that has a place for all your most precious pieces of fabric.
In 2025, we started to publish the blocks in our Pattern Poole magazine. After 2 issues, the magazine was paused due to Monica needing time to recover from a repetitive strain injury.
You’ll find the requirements list, along with blocks 1 and 9 in issue 1 and blocks 5 and 11 in issue 2.
The remaining blocks and the quilt as you go construction are all available on the website now.

Reviews
I have started on Precious Pieces but the first block ended up as a cushion as I decided I wanted to back the pieces with wadding.
Moving on with this and also about to order your latest mystery quilt!
I love foundation quilting and am so glad that this project has more of the method.
❤️Margaret

Execellent. Well written easy to follow intructions. Can never fault Pattern Poole patterns. Learning something new with each one.
I love these two blocks…I also bought the flower and the heart block too. I will share a photo when I get the quilt completed.
