WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PRINTED BOOK AND PDF?
There is no difference other than format. The content inside the books is the same, just the format is different. One being a PDF document you can download and print yourself locally or read on a device. The other a physical book printed in Australia. The PDF book contains links to YouTube tutorials that you can click on as well as QR codes to scan if you print it. The printed book has QR codes to scan with links you can type into internet search bars to see our YouTube tutorials.
WHY IS THE PRICE MORE EXPENSIVE AT THE CHECK OUT AND ON MY RECEIPT?
Our business is based in Australia and we use Australian dollars as our primary currency. Our website can display the prices in your local currency by detecting your country of origin. However, when you proceed to the checkout, the prices will revert to Australian dollars. This may seem higher, but it is equivalent to the same value in your currency. Your bank will handle the currency conversion when you complete the payment, so your bank statement will show the amount in your currency.
The receipt you receive from us will reflect the amount in Australian dollars.
MY PAYPAL ORDER DID NOT GO THROUGH. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
Some iPad or tablet users may experience difficulties when trying to purchase something with PayPal. This is a problem with PayPal, not with our site. To avoid this issue, please use a desktop computer or a phone instead. Also, please note that if you use PayPal Pay in Four, your payment will take about 24 hours to clear before we can process your order. We appreciate your patience and your understanding. HOW DO I ORDER MORE THAN ONE PRINTED BOOK?
We only have a few copies of the printed book left, so we can only accept online orders for one book per customer. If you want to buy more than one book, please send us an email at studio@patternpoole.com with your shipping information. We will send you an invoice with a revised shipping cost based on the weight of two books.
I PRE-ORDERED AND DID NOT RECIEVE AN EMAIL TO PURCHASE, WHAT DO I DO?
Some of you may not have received the pre-order launch emails due to your email firewall and security settings. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Rest assured, your book is still reserved, and you can purchase it anytime within the next week. (8th March - 15th March)
WHY IS THE SHIPPING SO EXPENSIVE?
We apologise for any inconvenience. Our book has more than 200 pages of information and colour photos, printed on high-quality paper with a Canadian-style binding. The shipping price reflects the weight of the book, which is quite large. We realise that this may not be affordable for everyone, so we have the PDF option that you can read on a device or print yourself locally.
WHY IS THE PRINTED BOOK SO EXPENSIVE?
Monica has been a quilting teacher for over 25 years and a trained fashion designer with proven methods. She spent a year writing this book, working more than 12 hours a day. This book is her life's work and a way to support our business as we keep making free YouTube videos. We are just two ordinary people trying to make ends meet. We know that not everyone can afford this book, so we also offer a PDF version. However, you can find more than 90 free YouTube tutorials on our channel where we show these techniques, which will always be free on our channel.
HOW MANY DEVICES CAN I DOWNLOAD THE PDF ONTO?
You can download the PDF to any device that you own, as the PDF recognizes your devices.
It is a breach of copyright to share the PDF with others.
HOW LONG DOES THE PDF BOOK LAST?
After buying the PDF Book, you can download and save it on your personal devices within 30 days.
The PDF Book will remain available as long as you keep it on your device. There is no time limit.
HOW LONG DOES THE DOWNLOAD LINK LAST?
You have 30 days to download your PDF before it expires. Save it to your device as soon as possible. If your link expires please email us and we will resend it to you.
CAN I PUT THE PDF BOOK ONTO A USB AND HAVE IT PRINTED AT A COPY SHOP?
You have our permission to print one copy of this document at a copy shop. Please see page 2 for the copyright notice.
HOW MANY PAGES ARE IN THE PDF DOCUMENT AND HOW DO I PRINT IT AT A COPY SHOP?
The PDF book has 208 pages in colour. To print your book, please ask for colour printing, double-sided pages, and spiral binding with clear plastic covers on both sides.
WHAT IS THE COST TO PRINT IT AT MY LOCAL COPY SHOP?
To find out the cost of printing 208 pages in color, double-sided, with a spiral binding and plastic covers, you will need to contact your local copyshop and ask for a quote. The prices may vary depending on the region, and in some cases, it may be cheaper to order our printed option with shipping. We suggest that you compare the quotes and choose the best option for you.
MY CREDIT CARD WON'T WORK, WHY IS THIS?
The only cards we accept are Visa and Mastercard. We do not accept AMEX or any other card types.
WHAT IS THE SHIPPING TIME?
